We hope everyone is having a great February! We are heads down working on lots of new DC Deck-Building Game base games, expansions, accessories, and… surprises. This is going to be the brightest year yet for the game! Expect announcements to start hitting in a few short months…
We have something else special hitting Kickstarter on March 3… Fight! Mortal Kombat 1. We took the Cerberus Engine and reimagined it from the ground up to optimize it for fighting games. It’s fast, brutal, dynamic, and so much fun!

Happy New Year! And what a year it’s going to be, because we have SO MUCH planned for DC Deck-Building Game fans. We’re going to ring in 2026 by confirming: Yes, there will be a new Kickstarter campaign. We’re deep in development and can’t say much, but we can reveal the main base game is one that you, the fans, have been asking for. We can also say that there will be fresh gameplay, amazing DC art, expansions, exclusives, and stretch goals galore. We can’t wait!
Beyond that, we’re looking at more ways to support and grow the community. We’re starting locally (we’re in Orange County, California), but we hope to work with more game stores and fan groups directly and do more to encourage events. DC Deck-Building Game has been around for 14 years and we’re still seeing new people start playing every week. We think there is still a lot of room for growth for the game and for us to do lots more to support all of you!
Oh, and you’ll start seeing DC Deck-Building Game in Barnes & Noble locations in just a couple of months. So, hopefully, even more players will be introduced to the game.
Now, since we know you like deck-building games and Kickstarters, we have a special announcement…

Even if you’re not a hardcore fan of the show, the game is a lot fun for anyone who loves watching cheesy movies and making funny comments. In the game, you can use either the included Riff cards or write your own riffs on the special dry-erase Riff cards, as you encounter images from classic B-movies.
